Information we collect
When you create or use a pilot account, we collect your business name, your name, email address, selected service, and market. While you use BuyerTells, we record account sessions, viewed records, saved lead stages, notes, product actions, and reports you send us.
We use a secure session cookie to keep your list private. We do not sell customer account information.
Public business information
BuyerTells processes permits, licences, development notices, public procurement records, and public professional business-contact routes. A record being public does not make every possible use appropriate.
We do not identify, infer, or expose private homeowners. We only present a business contact when public evidence connects the business to the record or supports that business identity.
How we use information
- Create and secure your BuyerTells account and lists.
- Match public records to the service and city you choose.
- Remember your lead decisions and measure whether the pilot is useful.
- Investigate errors, support questions, and suspected misuse.
- Maintain backups, security, and service reliability.
Service providers and disclosure
Infrastructure and research providers may process limited information when they help us host, secure, or operate BuyerTells. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the service and its users.
Retention and your choices
We retain customer information while a pilot account is active and only as long afterward as needed for security, backup, legal, and pilot-evaluation purposes. You may ask what customer information we hold, request a correction, or ask us to close your account and delete information that we are not required to retain.
Use the privacy request form. We will verify the requester before disclosing or deleting account information.
Security and corrections
We use access controls, hashed invitation and session tokens, encrypted transport, restricted production services, verified backups, and customer-workspace isolation. No system is risk-free. Report suspected unauthorized access through Support.
